The second of my two four day weeks comes to an end tomorrow. I will be traveling to Eureka Springs to see ghosts, ride mopeds and take some pictures.
The past weekend was the yearly (kinda) Chicago Auto Show trip. Two days of driving one of looking at cars - that kinda makes me wonder about priorities. It was a swell time, with Lynn and Adam along the drive was cake. I much perfer talking to someone (anyone?) than any other form of car driving entertainment. The next trip to Chicago will definitely have to be about the city. The entire time back to Jim & Missy's house I looked out the window of the van and wished we could stop and walk around and take pictures and see the city. The weather was unbelievable! No coat! In February!
It has helped me to get psyhed about going to Lexington over Springbreak with Stacy. I am forming a list of places and restaurants that I imagine as spectacular. Living in Joplin makes me really appreciate other city's ammenities. I was telling Lynn on the way home that what I think Joplin needs is a big change - and almost any big change would work. It's not that the change itself would be good. It would be the violent stir around it that would be great, to see it get everyone's blood pumping.
I'm thinking this is nice, however I may like the titling more than the posting. Kinda like in emailing, the subjecting is sometimes better than the email itself. Or maybe like art that doesn't mean a damn thing till you read the title.
